Trumpet pants.

First and foremost,
HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY, BIRTHDAY FAIRY JOY!!!
MAY ALL YOUR WISHES COME TRUE! HAVE A GREAT ONE!

*CONFETTI*

Every department in my office dreads the day where it's their turn to go out and get food for tea time. Because there's just nothing else to eat out there at around 4.30p.m., except for goreng pisangs and ham chin pengs. So stuff could get a little repetitive at times. Not only that, we still have to get enough food for about 30 people with only a budget of RM50. And also make sure that it's actually something that everyone enjoys. Siala. Sibeh brain taxing, man. And it's my turn to buy next week. Jia latt.

Anyhow, being in the Creative Team, my ever creative Creative Director, Vis,came up with a brilliant plan to avoid the hassles of thinkin about what to buy for tea time.

PLAY POOL. No really.

And we thought yeah it would be cool. Since we have a pool table lying around, why not like, start a tournament among departments and the losing team will win an all expenses paid trip to go buy stuff for tea time for a whole month. Risky, but worth it. If you win that is. Haha anyway the Creative Team's got its share of good, dare I say exceptional pool players. Including EY the 'sharp shooter', Vis the 'trick-shot champion', Tong the 'banana ball expert', Mimi the 'inmagine pool queen' and of course moi, the 'other guy'... We are SO gonna win.

But of course this is no ordinary game of pool. To give it a little more challenge and also making it fun at the same time, we came up with a little fusion of sorts. Among the many concepts that we talked about, these are the 2 that made it through.

Arcade game style pool.
Each department will have to deploy 3 players, and they will have to compete with players from other departments. The winning team will then have to defeat the boss player of the losing departments team. Just like your average, say, MEGAMAN game where you fight through a level then come face to face with the boss of that level. Well er, something like that. You get the idea. To give it a more authentic feel, music from some retro Atari games will be pre-recorded and played in the background.

Wrestling style pool.
By far the cream of the crop, pool played in this style will be divided into 4 main catergories, comprising of -

1) Slobber knocker.
2 players from opposing teams will start first, and either one has to get rid of his opponent before a new player comes in every 3 minutes. With that happening, the pool game will then be reset and continued until there are no more opponents and the player remaining will be the winner.

2) Ladder match.
This is just like a normal game of pool but for the whole duration of the game, players will have to play on, yep, you guessed it - LADDERS.

3) No DQ Hardcore match.
For this match, the pool table will be surrounded with all kinds of weapons, mostly from the props room, your standard trash cans and folded chairs, clocks, toy cars and rubber duckies. Kitchen sink included. While the game is in session, opponents are allowed to use these weapons to beat the crap out of each other. But however, even with one knocked out, the remaining player will have to clear the table and the 8 ball in order to win.

4) Cage match.
Players will be locked up in a 12ft high steel cage and the person who manages to clear the table and 8 ball first will then have to k.o his opponent and climb out of the cage before his opponent gains consciousness and pulls him back down. If this happens, they will have to play another round of pool again and continue until one gets out of the cage successfully.

...

Nah. We're just gonna play pool.

Office quickie

A lil something I did during office slack off time. All those hours running around getting stuff done on a tight schedule can really make someone go peanuts.

Hooray for 3-day old Krispy Kreme!

After only hearing about how omfgfabulouslymouthwateringgood it is, today has definitely got to be the best day of my life so far for I have finally tasted the fabled -

*It came from above*
Creds to Joy (got image from her too) and of course Stephen for bringing it all the way over from Aussie. Joy only managed to bring one to the office, and of course Nessie just had to be there to ruin my plans of having it all to myself. Bollocks. so being the nice guy that I am, I asked Nessie if she wanted to try some too. After Joy divided the doughnut into halves, there was a little struggle in the office pantry and I had to go with the smaller half after Nessie literally gave me a tripple choke-slam. Anyway, definitely gotta have some fresh ones. Good stuff, good stuff.
