Granola Bars.

You know the movie Grease? Like the most successful movie musical of all time? Of course you do. Who wouldn't, right? But I'm not gonna talk about the movie. I'm gonna talk about Mattel. Yeah Mattel, the toy company. You must be asking how are they related. Well I somehow believe that the dudes at Mattel once wanted to make a toy range out of the famous musical. Either that or the company has some really hardcore Grease fans as toy designers. Anyway, for some reasons I guess the Grease toy range never saw daylight.

But now, 28 years later (the movie debuted in 1978), I think that they're trying to revive that plan. Mattel dug deep into their toybox and re-used the old Grease prototype toy molds to come up with... erm, I guess you can say "something old, something new". But there are no John Travolta "Danny Zuko" action figures that say "Grease lightning!" when you push a button on their backs, though. None of that stuff. No siree.

This time its something totally unexpected. Very, very unexpected. The toys for the new Superman movie are already out, and it's totally clear that the Mattel dudes decided if they couldn't make a toy range out of the musical, they'd immortalise the musical IN their toys.

Grease is the word, baby.

And now that we're bringing Mattel and Superman into the picture, we now know why Barbie and Ken broke up.

Ken dressed weird.

I need sleep.
